Swindon manager Maurice Malpas is certain to be without striker Barry Corr for Friday's trip to Prenton Park to face Tranmere Rovers. The forward was forced off with a recurrence of a shoulder injury in Monday's game with Southend and could be missing for six months.
Midfielder Christian Roberts has undergone surgery on his knee this week which is expected to rule him out at least until the start of next season, while Pat Kanyuka (thigh) could also miss the remainder of the campaign.
There is better news, however, on Jamie Vincent who returns from a groin problem and Miguel Comminges will be available for the last time before he serves a two-game ban for picking up 10 yellow cards this season.
"Jamie trained on Tuesday and is now available for selection. He will join up with the squad again on Thursday ahead of Friday's game with Tranmere Rovers," Robins physio Dick Mackey told the club's official website.
Malpas must decide whether to use Lee Peacock from the start after the midfielder came off the bench against United and Kaid Mohamed is added to the squad following his return from a loan spell at Torquay.
