Tony Dinning will not enjoy watching his Chester team-mates in action against former club Stockport this weekend stranded on the sidelines.Dinning misses the game due to a one-match ban following his sending-off in Monday's 1-0 defeat at Peterborough.
The 32-year-old made well over 200 appearances in two spells at Edgeley Park, but will be the most notable absentee for the Blues on Saturday.
"I'm devastated about missing Saturday's match against my old club," Dinning told the Chester Evening Leader.
"I won't enjoy watching Saturday's match from the stand because I had to spend two and a half months out injured earlier this season and it felt like two and a half years."
