Struggling League One side Gillingham have signed Coventry City striker Donovan Simmonds on loan until the end of the season.The 19-year-old, who has yet to make a senior appearance for the Sky Blues, has done enough during a trial with the Gills to earn a prolonged stay at Priestfield.

But Simmonds is unable to make his debut in Saturday's home clash as he is suspended after being sent off while playing for Coventry's reserves. However, he will be eligible to face Luton next Tuesday.
