Middlesbrough midfielder Jason Kennedy has extended his loan spell at promotion-chasing Darlington until the end of the season. The 21-year-old joined the Quakers on an initial one-month deal at the end of February and has featured heavily for Dave Penney's side, making seven appearances and scoring once.
Penney, meanwhile, is also expected to complete a deal for Leeds midfielder Ben Parker, 20, to remain with the Quakers for the remainder of the regular season before Thursday's loan deadline.
Parker's existing one-month stay expires on Sunday but a new deal is now in place which will include the option of a further extension should Darlington reach the play-offs.
