Little hails players' attitude

Thu 27 Mar, 05:15 PM

Wrexham manager Brian Little has praised the attitude of his players for prolonging their ongoing battle against relegation. The Dragons have been wedged in the bottom two for the majority of the season and would have already been consigned to life in the Blue Square Premier had Little's arrival in November not sparked something of an upturn in fortunes.

Little remains adamant his side can beat the drop and victory at Barnet on Saturday could see the Dragons haul themselves off the foot of the table.

"We've been bottom of the table for such a long time now and the fact that we've not been tailed off is testament to the attitude of the players," Little told BBC Sport Wales.

"I think a lot of people up and down the country might still predict Wrexham for relegation, but we feel here that we've shown a fair amount of stick-ability and we're still within a very good chance and we won't give up.

"We have to survive in the hope that we can be competitive next season."
