Coventry have signed highly-rated young striker Zavon Hines on loan from West Ham until the end of the season.The 19-year-old, a product of the Hammers' famed youth system, has yet to make his debut for the Premier League club but has been a mainstay of the reserve-team for several seasons.

Hines, who had a trial at League Two side Bury earlier this campaign, was watched by Sky Blues boss Chris Coleman last week.

Meanwhile, defender Colin Hawkins has joined Chesterfield on loan for the remainder of the season.

The 30-year-old, who is out of contract at the Ricoh Arena in the summer, has made just appearance for the Sky Blues this season.
