Williams savouring end of campaign

Thu 27 Mar, 06:45 PM

Colchester manager Geraint Williams insists he is no hurry for the season to end despite staring at a return to League One.The injury-hit Us have suffered a hugely-disappointing campaign and are now 11 points adrift of safety with just six games remaining.

But Williams is looking for his players to show some pride over the run-in, even if any survival bid looks impossible.

"We are not at the point where we want this season to end," said Williams.

"There are still six games to go, and we have pride and plenty of points to play for."
