The Procar Rally Team continues its planning for the 2008 season. The team will participate in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge with a Grande Punto Abarth S2000 and Spaniard Dani Solà as driver, the 2002 Junior World Champion.

An agreement was signed for participation in four IRC races, starting with Rally Turkey during the first week-end of April.

Solà's season will count three more races: Ypres (Belgium – June, 27/28), Russia (11/12 July) and Madeira (Portugal – August, 1/2).

Guido Tanteri, CEO of Procar Rally Team, said: "The beginning of 2008 has been difficult for everyone, especially because of the economic moment. We are delighted to have concluded the agreement with Dani Solà, certainly he is able to give us a new impetus to the international level. He must take confidence with the Grande Punto S2000, but we have trust in his good season for new sport satisfactions."
