Sakhee's Secret could kick-start his 2008 campaign in the Stan James Palace House Stakes at Newmarket on May 4.
Hughie Morrison's speedy colt won four straight races last term, culminating with success in the July Cup, before his winning sequence was ended on unsuitable ground at Haydock.
Sakhee's Secret will again be targeted at the major sprinting prizes on offer as Morrison hopes for another fruitful campaign.
"He's fine and he's cantering away and the idea is for us to aim at the Group One sprints in the middle of the summer," said Morrison.
"We'll try to give him a run before those and my present thinking is that he might start in the Palace House Stakes.
"You'd probably have a better chance of getting decent ground there. I expect I'll enter him for York as well, but it can often be quite soft there.
"I don't want him to have a hard race on soft ground. Every race he ran last year on slower ground he ran around 10lb below his best.
"As he gets older he'll probably handle it better, but I just don't really want to start him off on that soft ground."
Morrison is considering taking Sakhee's Secret abroad if the season progresses to his satisfaction.
"If all goes well and we're happy with him that could happen. There are opportunities abroad, I think there's a six-furlong Group Two race at the Breeders' Cup that might be a possibility," he added.
"There's also the Hong Kong Sprint and there's the two races at Royal Ascot and the July Cup back here.
"It'll obviously depend on whether we're tackling five or six furlongs as to whether we'll try the Nunthorpe and maybe we could go to France for the Maurice De Gheest if he's wanting further."
Sakhee's Secret looked the potential star the sprint scene has been lacking in recent years when slamming his rivals in the July Cup, and Morrison feels there could yet be more to come.
"As long as he goes the right way you would hope he would improve," he added.
"He's not highly-strung but he does always want to get on with things and I just hope he doesn't get too keen.
"Horses should improve from three to four if they are sound and sprinters can of course improve as old as five or six."
