Premier League duo Kenny Miller and Niko Krancjar were both on target as Scotland held Croatia to a 1-1 friendly draw in poor weather conditions at Hampden.
The result earned new Scotland boss George Burley a draw in his first match in charge.
Croatia took the lead after nine minutes when Portsmouth midfielder Kranjcar dug out a shot from the edge of the box that swerved past a stranded Craig Gordon, who was confused by either a deflection or natural swerve on account of the blustery conditions, replays initially proving inconclusive.
Scotland fought back and levelled on the half hour when Derby hit-man Miller latched onto a Steven Fletcher long ball that Robert Kovac mis-cleared before firing a shot past Stipe Pletikosa via the outstretched leg of Josip Simunic.
The second half was broken up by several substitutions and bookings, although Scotland keeper Gordon saved well from Igor Budan, while Pletikosa denied Kris Boyd late-on after good work from the impressive Alan Hutton.
There was a note of worry for Scotland and Manchester United when Darren Fletcher limped off in injury-time following a match played at a high-tempo and with aggressive tackling, particularly from Niko Kovac and Gary Naysmith, who were both subbed off by their managers after picking up yellow cards for late tackles on Scott Brown and Darijo Srna respectively.
