All the deadline day deals, with Blackpool signing striker Lee Hughes on loan from League One side Oldham until the end of the season.
The former West Brom and Coventry forward, 32, has scored 18 goals in 36 league starts for the Latics this term.
He should make his debut for the Seasiders in next weekend's home clash against fellow Championship strugglers Plymouth.
It represents a remarkable turnaround for Hughes, who returned to football in the summer after three years in prison for a drink-drive accident in which a man died.
Nottingham Forest secured the loan acquisition of Queens Park Rangers striker Dexter Blackstock until the end of the season.
Forest manager Billy Davies thought he had landed his man after enquiring about Aston Villa's Marlon Harewood, but the former City Ground favourite joined Wolves instead.
Blackstock, 22, tops the Loftus Road scoring charts this term with 12 goals, but boss Paulo Sousa has allowed him to link up with their Championship rivals after the clubs agreed an undisclosed loan fee.
"I'm sure he will prove to be a great acquisition," Davies told the club's official website.
"It's no secret that we have been looking for a certain type of striker and Dexter certainly fits that bill.
"I've been watching him with great interest for several seasons and he's got all the attributes of a top striker.
"Most importantly he scores goals but he's also got presence and good movement in his play."
Preston have bolstered their squad with the loan signing of Watford midfielder Lee Williamson.
The 26-year-old has joined North End on loan until the end of the season after 38 appearances for the Hornets so far this term.
The former Rotherham man is eligible for all of Preston's remaining fixtures, including any potential play-off matches they may be involved in.
Preston boss Alan Irvine was delighted to land Williamson after losing Barry Nicholson and Richard Chaplow to injury.
"He's a central midfield player, he's a competitive player, he's comfortable on the ball, he can make a pass, he moves well with the ball," Irvine told the club's official website.
"He's an all-round midfield player, someone who can get forward but someone who is prepared to do the defensive jobs and I am hoping that he strengthens us in that department."
Plymouth Argyle have allowed goalkeeper Graham Stack to join Championship leaders Wolves on loan until the end of the season.
Argyle have the option to recall Stack in exceptional circumstances within 24 hours and he is expected to act as cover for Wayne Hennessey as Wanderers seek promotion to the Premier League.
Stack has not featured for the Pilgrims since the September defeat to Norwich and he will be keen for an opportunity to impress Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
A brief spell on loan at Blackpool over the festive period ended in frustration for Stack, as he did not make an appearance for the Seasiders.
Simon Walton has joined Blackpool on loan for the rest of the season from relegation rivals Plymouth.
Midfielder Walton was placed on the transfer list by Pilgrims boss Paul Sturrock in December after his red card in the defeat by Barnsley.
Walton has featured just four times for Plymouth since his dismissal and has now been loaned out to the Seasiders for the remainder of the term.
He will not be eligible to play against his parent club when Blackpool return to Championship action following the international break at Bloomfield Road.
Newcastle starlet Kazenga LuaLua has joined Doncaster on a month's loan.
The 18-year-old, the younger brother of former Magpies striker Lomana, could make his debut against Watford on April 4.
LuaLua has made nine senior appearances as a substitute for Newcastle to date.
