Bournemouth manager Kevin Bond believes his side have a great chance of staying in League One after their 1-0 win over Crewe at Dean Court.A jubilant Bond watched the Cherries record their sixth win in a row - their best winning sequence since his dad John was in charge of the Dorset club back in 1970.
Bournemouth went ahead nine minutes after the break through Welshman Sam Vokes' 12th goal of the campaign after Crewe defender Danny O'Donnell had made a hash of a back header.
Bond said: "It's been a topsy turvy year for us. We've given ourselves a great chance of staying up by winning games and we now have the belief that we can stay in this division. That is what winning matches does to you.
"When you have got a winning team together, then you want to hang on to it and that is what I have got at the moment.
"I couldn't ask for any more from the players. Every one of them has been absolutely magnificent for me and I can't ask for more from any of them."
