Rochdale manager Keith Hill is hoping Nathan Stanton's red card against Bury will be overturned as it means he will miss the play-offs.Stanton could count himself somewhat unlucky not to receive a yellow card for a trip on Elliott Bennett and Hill is hopeful referee Michael Jones will reconsider his decision.
He said: "The reverberations of it are catastrophic for Nathan and he is now going to miss out on our play-off games.
"I am not going to start arguing with the officials because I can't afford to pay the fine, but I have spoken to Mr Jones and he has agreed to have a look at the DVD over the weekend.
"It was probably the tastiest game I have been involved in as a manager and it's likely to be a prelude to what we can expect in the play-offs.
"What a reception we got from our supporters, but the delayed kick-off caused by getting so many of them in might have hurt us a little."
