Chester manager Simon Davies is confident his side will still be playing in the Football League next season after their 0-0 draw at Shrewsbury. The Blues now need only a point from their remaining two home games against Stockport and Macclesfield to stay in League Two, and Davies is adamant his players can end the campaign on a high.
"We can do it now," said Davies. "We deserved a draw and we caused them problems."
Chester face County on Tuesday and then the Silkmen next weekend and a solitary point from either game will be enough to send relegation rivals Mansfield down.
But with Chester's record of a mere ten points out of the last 72, it is by no means a done deal.
