Millwall manager Kenny Jackett has set his sights on promotion next season after Neil Harris secured safety and frustrated 10-man Carlisle. The 30-year-old striker was told in February that he did not figure in Jackett's future plans at The Den - but showed his quality setting up Arsenal loanee Jay Simpson for Millwall's opener.
Harris then smashed home from the spot after Danny Livesey had seen red for a hack on the former Nottingham Forest striker before Tony Craig sealed the Lions' League One status in the 64th minute to complete a 3-0 win.
Jackett, who refused to comment on Harris' future, said: "We all want to do better next season and our aim as of July 1 will undoubtedly be promotion.
"Now with our status secure we can plan for the future. It has been a turbulent season but we can now sit down, discuss the budget and work out what it will take to be successful.
"Talk regarding Neil isn't for now. He had a great game and put in a good performance - but we will see what happens."
