Wycombe boss Paul Lambert insists defeat for the first time in seven games will have no bearing or influence on their chances in the play-offs.Richard Butler's goal after 23 minutes gave Notts County all three points at Meadow Lane on Saturday as they secured their place in the Football League for another season.
Lambert said: "There's no-one that we're frightened of going into the League Two play-offs and despite this defeat, the players will be ready - don't worry about that.
"I'm not happy about losing because I hate losing but I thought we had 80% of the game and we were brilliant. The only thing missing was a goal.
"We had two youngsters making their debuts and included a few other players on the fringes of the first team and I thought they did tremendously well.
"If McGleish's header had gone in early on, it would have been a very different game."
