Brazil striker Luis Fabiano has reiterated his desire to remain with Sevilla, but admits the situation is far from clear-cut.The Brazil international's future has been the source of much speculation this season, with a host of clubs reportedly chasing the in-form striker, who has a contract with Sevilla until 2009.
However, the 27-year-old insists he is keen to stay at Sevilla, but with 65% of his rights being held by an investment group he concedes the decision is not totally down to him.
"I would like to stay but it does not only depend on me, there are three parties and things are complicated," he said.
Luis Fabiano was speaking after Sevilla's goalless draw away to second-bottom Real Murcia.
That result not only could have serious repercussions for Sevilla's hopes of earning a Champions League spot at the end of the season, but it might also affect Luis Fabiano's chances of ending up as the division's top scorer.
The former Porto hitman leads the way with 23 goals, two more than Real Mallorca's Daniel Guiza in the race for the Pichichi (top scorer), but given the choice of winning that accolade or Sevilla claiming a top-four finish, for Luis Fabiano there is no contest.
"I am not concerned about the Pichichi and if I am chased by Guiza or not, but about Sevilla. For them to get into the Champions League is the most important thing for me," he added on club website www.sevillafc.es.
"We have hopes of playing in the Champions League once again, but it is more difficult (following the draw with Murcia)."
