Brian Laws was adamant Sheffield Wednesday's job was only half-done after they beat Leicester 3-1 to boost their Championship survival hopes.The Owls fell behind at the Walkers Stadium to a ninth-minute Iain Hume goal but stormed back with goals from Bartosz Slusarski (45), Steve Watson (53) and Leon Clarke (89).

The gripping contest also featured two missed penalties, with Deon Burton spurning a chance to put Wednesday level in the 28th minute when his spot-kick was saved by Paul Henderson.

Hume then missed an opportunity to make it 2-2 in the 67th minute, pulling his effort wide.

Laws' side are now two points above the drop zone ahead of their final game of the season against Norwich at Hillsborough next Sunday, but the manager is taking nothing for granted.

"The first thing I said to the players was 'don't think we have done it, that's half the job'.' We are not taking our eye off the ball at any stage," Laws said.

"We trained all week on how we were going to play and now we have to prepare them again for another massive game against Norwich.

"If anybody tells me football is not stressful I think I will have to knock them out. What a game! I said to the players at full time 'I don't know whether I could take much more of that'.

"It was incredible. We had left ourselves in a position where we needed to win two games to get out of this and this is only half the job, but what a job we have done!"

Foxes boss Ian Holloway remains upbeat about his side's chances of securing their Championship future despite defeat.

However, he warned his men to prepare for "the hardest week of their lives".

"Two weeks ago people were writing us off," he said. "Everyone had us down to be relegated because we were the team in that bottom position. But then we went to Barnsley and beat them.

"We now need West Brom to beat Southampton on Monday evening. If they don't then we have got to go to Stoke and get something. We may well have to go there and get all three.

"The most disappointing thing for me is we feel we are now left feeling like Barnsley did last week. Can we respond like they did? I certainly think so.

"I have told the players they had better be ready for the hardest week of their lives. They have now got to face up to that challenge."
