Shrewsbury boss Paul Simpson was disappointed with his side's effort in their 0-0 draw with struggling Chester and has vowed to make changes."Everybody knew they were playing for their places, but not many did enough to show they wanted to stay," said Simpson.
"I want players who want to play on a good pitch in a fine stadium. There are too many training ground players in the world and we have some of them."
"We've now lost at Mansfield and Macclesfield and only drawn at home to Notts County and Chester. Our leading scorer Dave Hibbert has only got 12. It says it all."
Simpson did praise Chris Humphrey after the teenager came close to scoring early in the second half when goalkeeper John Danby tipped his left-foot drive round the post. Soon after, as the ball rolled along the Chester goal line there was no one on hand to touch it home.
"That, too, says it all," added Simpson. "No-one willing to take the chance to be in there just in case something happens."
