Four-time champions Hypo Niederosterreich reached the Champions League final after beating HC Lada Togliatti 64-60 on aggregate.

The Austrian side came from behind to reach their first final since winning the title in 2000 after losing the first leg in Russia 31-28.

Hypo raced into an eight-goal lead at half-time at the Sustadt arena, before surviving a fightback from Togliatti after the break.

They will now face Zvezda Zvenigorod, who overcame a 25-23 first-leg deficit to stun Hungarians Gyori Audi ETO in the other semi-final with a 27-21 road win.

The Russian side go through to their first-ever Champions League final after winning 50-46 on aggregate.
