Phil Brown believes the spirit and camaraderie in his Hull dressing room can help the club become an established top-flight side.The Tigers reached the promised land of the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Bristol City at Wembley on Saturday.

Brown is well aware he now needs to add to his squad to avoid an immediate return to the Championship, but insists he has the nucleus of a decent team already in the ranks at the KC Stadium.

"The team spirit that we built over the course of the season was one of the biggest factors behind our success and it will put us in good stead for next year," said Brown.

"We have a very good squad full of talented players, although we'll have to improve that. Saturday was a fitting way to end a great season, but it's already on the way behind us now.

"It's what we set out to achieve 10 months ago and now we've got the big boys coming to the KC Stadium."
