Hartlepool captain Ritchie Humphreys has challenged some of the club's youngsters to catch the eye of boss Danny Wilson next season.Wilson has recently handed professional deals to Jonny Rowell, Joe Tait and Matty Tymon and Humphreys wants the trio to force their way into the first-team fold at Victoria Park.
"They can't afford to waste a minute really," Humphreys told the Hartlepool Mail.
"We are so privileged to be in this position as footballers and when you are finished you regret not giving it everything you have.
"If you are not in the first team, there are so many things you can work on after training whether it is technical, physical or strength."
