Celtic winger Aiden McGeady is confident Hoops boss Gordon Strachan will still be the manager at Parkhead next season.Strachan's future has been the subject of intense speculation despite leading the club to the SPL title.
The former Southampton and Coventry manager is reported to be considering his future at Celtic after three years in Glasgow and McGeady hopes Strachan decides to stay on.
"Obviously not every single fan has taken to him the way you would have thought but his record speaks for itself to be honest," McGeady told Sky Sports News.
"Before winning the league we won two two league championship in a row, two last 16 qualifications [in the Champions League] the Scottish Cup, CIS Cup and now the fact we have won the league three times in a row his record could get even better.
"It is obviously up to him what he wants to do if he wants to go on. He is one of best managers we have ever had but what he does is up to him.
"I expect him to be there but it's up to himself and whether he can achieve more with Celtic and what he wants to do with the rest of his time
"I want to see him there as he has been good for me and good for the club."
