Cheltenham's chief scout Kieran Scarff has revealed he turned down offers from two Premier League clubs to remain at Whaddon Road.Former Lincoln scout Scarff had no hesitation in reuniting with manager Keith Downing following his full-time appointment last November and is fully settled in his role ahead of a busy transfer period.
"I've thoroughly enjoyed my six months working for the club and I want to continue," Scarff told the club's official website.
"I had offers to work as part of West Brom's European scouting network and to do UK-based work for Newcastle United but I enjoy working for Keith and I enjoy the level of input I get as chief scout.
"We get hundreds, probably thousands of names thrown at us over the summer but we already know who we would like to get and who we think should improve the team."
