Internazionale coach Roberto Mancini looks to be on his way out of the club less than a fortnight after delivering the club's third consecutive Serie A title.
The 43-year-old's agent Giorgio De Giorgis revealed Mancini was likely to leave the club after meeting with Inter president Massimo Moratti on Tuesday.
A statement is expected to be released by the San Siro club later on Tuesday.
"Is it finished? More or less, it seems to be, but I don't have any confirmation," De Giorgis told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The news is not unexpected with former Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho strongly linked with the post.
Mancini has endured a turbulent season at the San Siro, tendering his resignation in the immediate aftermath of the club's Champions League elimination by Liverpool in March only to be talked into a rethink by Moratti.
Mancini's name has been linked with the vacancy at Stamford Bridge, created by Saturday's sacking of Avram Grant.
