Audi have announced their driver line-up for their three entries at the June 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The number one Audi R15 TDI will be driven by last year's winners Italian Dindo Capello, Danish legend Tom Kristensen and Scotsman Allan McNish.
The trio recently won the 12-hour race at Sebring in the USA.
The number two R15 also features the same line-up which ran at Sebring: Germans Lucas Luhr, Mike Rockenfeller and Marco Werner.
The third R15 will be shared by German Timo Bernhard and Frenchmen Romain Dumas and Alexandre Premat.
"The 12-hour race at Sebring was a successful dress rehearsal for us," said Dr. Wolfgang Ullrich, head of Audi Motorsport. "That's why we didn't make any changes to the driver teams that competed at Sebring.
"The squad for the third car automatically resulted from this decision. I'm convinced that we've filled the cockpits of all three R15 TDI cars at Le Mans with outstanding racers - also thanks to the two drivers Porsche is providing to us."
The new additions to the team, Bernhard and Dumas, have thoroughly familiarised themselves with the Audi R15 TDI in test runs.
The first second-generation diesel-powered race sports car has undergone further development since its victorious debut at Sebring, with an aerodynamics package optimised for the Le Mans high-speed track.
The 77th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans takes place on June 13 and 14.

Come on Alan McNish and team , we are all wishing you the very best of luck. From everyone of your supporters in Dumfries.xxxx
@Dean,
I fail to see how anyone can interpret the top two cars finishing on the same lap after 24 hours of racing as Audi seeming to have no competition.
And if they somehow do then they are not really interested in the sport in the first place.
Back on subject, the number 2 car has individual driver, but that does not necessarily mean that it has the best team, this is going to be an interesting race this year.
I hope the Peugeots win this time! Maybe then it won't seem like there is no competition for the Audis.
As long as they beat the french i dont care who wins lol
Go Audi! :-)
i don't know how Audi does it,but they keep pushing the envelope....and the R15 TDI is a beaut.... Some awesome lines and curves.... One sexy bodied race car...
