Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and defender Nemanja Vidic have been named Barclays manager and player of the year.
The awards recognise another outstanding season for the club in winning their third successive Premier League title.
It is the ninth time Ferguson has received the honour while Vidic collects his for the first time in his career.
The Serbian, 27, was sent off in both matches against title rivals Liverpool but otherwise performed impressively in the United rearguard, not least during a run of 14 consecutive clean sheets.
That sequence came amid a 16-game unbeaten run from November to March which propelled Ferguson to his 11th title as United boss.

Excellent! Two well deserved awards. No question about it.
This is a joke..... right?
My God what is the world coming to?
Now am ready to comment my reserves from the 1st comment. As we all watch last nite match.Who say Vidic is superb? He was totally disgraced by Eto and Henry. That is why am commenting my reserves.SG was supposed to be awarded this Vidic's award.Period.ManU fans over
I reckon Drogba should be at the next olympics, definately gold in the diving. About the only award he deserves.
Ade.p So come on then, youv'e made the comment, are you intelligent enough to point out the reasons, or are you an uneducated idiot who just supports a team that's won nothing? and has to make comments that make only YOU feel better for being a sad loser.
Congratulations to the MOU Boss and Vidic. Anthor fentastic season from the legand and which is top ranked again and again the English club in the World because of those two.
THAT IS BULL LIVERPOOL IS THE BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE YNWA YNWA
these awards are getting ever more ridiculous, what next, ronaldo gets one for crier of the season?
Barca were bloody good werne't they, three cheers for the spanish
Congratulations to Fergie and Vidic - another outstanding season by both - SAF is consistently the outstanding manager in any league. My one criticism of Vidic - he has melt downs from time to time, especially when there is a lot riding on the outcome - such as tonight. I probably wouldnt have singled him out, maybe Gerrard, or Cahill or Rio or Ronaldo.
The manager that wins the most and he has, will win this award more often than not. Benitez will win @#$% all!
Ade P - bitter much? You wish your team had him for a manger!
VAI CORINTHIANS! NUMERNO UNO! MELGOR DO QUE OS VEADOS DA EUROPA! GAVIOES!
The F**kin Sooty and sweep awards based on tonights humiliation. A joke. You'll never walk alone!!!! Sack the whiskey nose or maybe not.
ronney the donkey
i have neverhope a non british club would win until it was man u
fergufson is as crooked as a politician !!!
item10, presume you talk about gerrard, please tell us when he was found guilty of any offence, which would warrant you calling him a thug, from your name it sounds like you hail from a country were people are guilty without trial, you should consider returningto that country , because in this country, YOU ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE, GOT IT SCUM.
