Serie A - According to reports in Italy, Napoli are close to making an offer for Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano.
Cassano has disappointed at the Bernabeu since his arrival in 2006 and has often been rumoured with a return to Italy.
Reports have suggested that the players agent, Beppe Bozzo, has already met with Napoli officials in an attempt to fast-track a deal.
The Italy international has had a torrid time of it in the Spanish capital making just 14 appearances and scoring four goals for Los Blancos.
The 24-year-old has only played 320 minutes of football in 2007 and international agent Ernesto Bronzetti reckons Cassano would be thrilled with a move to the Stadio San Paulo.
He told Radio Incontro: "I think it would be an excellent move. Cassano needs to feel valued by his public and Napoli have the kind of fans he needs."
