Dunfermline boss Jim McIntyre has hailed Graham Bayne as "the perfect targetman" after completing a deal to sign the striker from Inverness. The 28-year-old moves for a small undisclosed fee and has signed a two-year contract with the Pars.
The move means Bayne steps down to the Irn-Bru First Division, however Dunfermline hope he can lead them back to the top flight.
McIntyre said: "We have had to pay a fee for Graham but I was prepared to do that because I rate him very highly."
The Pars boss told the club's website: "I have seen him play and played against him on numerous occasions and he has always impressed me.
"He is my type of player - he works hard, is strong in the air and scores the odd goal. He's the perfect target man."
Bayne signed for Caley Thistle on a free transfer from Ross County in the summer of 2004 and made 133 appearances for the Highland club, scoring 19 goals.
