The Lions found a 15 capable of beating the Boks, unfortunately it was found too late. But 15 was all they had. As soon as the injuries took a toll the weakness of the bench was glaring. They must be given massive praise for a first half that had the Boks reeling. Yes, Burger should have been sent off but where's the glory in beating 14 Sprinboks? The tour party should have been 41 not 38. 41 places were available why not use them? Any tour of SA is going to be a matter of attrition as Geech should know well. After saying all that, the first two tests contained probably the best top level rugby seen in years. Only spoiled by Mr Lawrence's incompetence in game 1. These Lions have not disgraced themselves in South Africa and they deserve great respect from all quarters. Well done lads.
che p. grow up
feel sorry for o'gara but he was to blame for the try by not being able to tackle and also the pen which we all no about, but i think it was all the injuries that did us in the end!! well done adam jones!!
firstchoicepm - spot on..................ah well only another 4 years!!! good post
Fair comment but I believe the management team should hold there hands up as well . O Gara shouldnt have been on the bench Hook should have been & Wallace shouldnt have been brought off for Williams Shaw should have been & Croft moved into the 2nd row , Shaw had played his heart out but was spent in the last 15 , we could go on & on
firstchoicepm - obvious target? he was the idiot who didn't even try and tackle, not the rest of the team? he should be sent home...NOW
o'gara should be gutted and then hung out to dry. any match fee he gets should be taken away for throwing away a test series.
O'Gara! Can't tackle, can't kick, shoulddn't be on this tour!
Damn the BRITISH are S*#T at Rugby!!!! GO BOKKE!!!
O Garas going to be the obvious easy target but lets not hang him out to dry , heat of the moment stuff . All in this together win or lose , immensely proud of the lads today , injuries lost us that game nothing else .
