Arsenal forward Emmanuel Adebayor could be an option for AC Milan if their bid to sign Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko fails according to Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani.
Galliani confirmed that the Togo international is one of the options should their first-choice option be blocked - and admitted that Milan have already spoken to Arsene Wenger about prising the striker away from the Emirates.
"We continue to follow Dzeko. At the moment he is not for sale but if Wolfsburg change their mind I'm ready to head to Germany immediately," Galliani said.
"Adebayor and Sevilla's Luis Fabiano could be alternatives but there have been no talks even if there has been a phone call about the Togolese with Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger."
He added: "We don't have any agreement with Dzeko," said Galliani. "He is a Wolfsburg player.
"Dzeko has expressed his liking for a move here but at this moment there are no negotiations yet.
"We wrote to Wolfsburg and they responded that he is not for sale. If Wolfsburg change their minds we have agreed they will call Milan. If they do I am ready to immediately leave and go there.
"There's no fee yet, at the moment Dzeko is not for sale. If he becomes for sale then we will start talking sums."
Speculation has been rife that midfield duo Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso would be joining former coach Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea.
However, Galliani reiterated that no offers have been made for Pirlo, while Gattuso has offered to take a pay cut to extend his stay at the San Siro.
Galliani said: "There have been no offers for Pirlo and Thursday night with Ancelotti was just a dinner between old friends, seeing as Carletto was in Milan for his daughter's graduation. Wednesday night I was at dinner with Gattuso who told us that he was ready to reduce his salary."

would be disappointed to see adebayor leaving now. he's an exciting player and apart from last season's injuries has scored some fantastic and important goals. however if that is the 'overseas' psyche of disregarding loyalty then let him go.
hallo to fan of arsenal i am is want to go for to milan now dat i is learn speak da goods english is time for me to be learn da goods italian
Adebayo goooooooooo,gooooooooooo and gooooooooooo
stay,he'l b on his top back..last seasn, not only ade false, been hittg by an injury n not fit overall...most of thm play like @#$%..ade have a really big potent...he shouldnt leav..
Slow motion is better than no motion. Adebayor is better than RVP. Let Wenger keep this squad together and monitor the young gunner closely. The future is too bright , i need sun glasses
Just do a swap deal!
Adebayor-- Flamini+10m,at least this way the greedy board won't take everything and we would have our great flamini back ;D

Adebayor really isn't very good. He has nothing, nothing on Henry. stick with van persie and arshavin!
ADEBAYAR REMEENS MAY AV THA WEE MON THOT USED TAY BE AN THA MARMELADE TUBS. A DINNAE LEEK MARMELADE. ESPECIALLAY THON WEE STRINGAY ARANGE BATS. FECKAN DASGASTANG.
Let him go hes a dirty judas anyway last season he couldnt wait to leave for milan and managed to get himself a hefty pay rise out of it.He doesnt bond with the other players bendtner etc and he doesnt chase back.good ridance. A.Wegner
sell adebayor for £25m,add £15m to it and make an audacious bid for villa from valencia,i think he'd come to arsenal as he likes there football and does'nt seem to rushed to go anywhere else
All it is not like feel sadness, just leave him to go this is opportunity for Talent Bendtner. Adebayor is pivotal for Arsenal but I wish him to go through Serie A. Where are strong talent there not play like female.
