Celtic look set to lose out on Nancy striker Marc-Antoine Fortune to Hull.
Tony Mowbray was reportedly keen to make the 27-year-old his first signing but the player is likely to opt for the Barclays Premier League outfit instead.
Nancy sporting director Nicolas Holveck said: "He has had permission to speak to clubs but the most advanced discussions, and the team that is very close to signing him, is Hull City."
He added: "It's highly possible a deal will be agreed over the weekend and, while these things can change at the last minute, Hull are the clear favourites."

VAT1A and VAT1A notes are 2 forms you should download from the HMRC website. If you don't beat them to it, they will ABSOLUTELY SLAUGHTER you in court for tax and duty evasion. These forms relate to DISTANCE SELLING. You may also need to apply for an EORI number, so that you conform to MoU regulations.
88 - MISDECLARED!!.... Commercial importation - agent clearance fee £22.00 / import tax = 4-6% of the retail value of the goods / 15% v.a.t. I can assure you that the regularity of these packages you're receiving from HK/China are being monitored, and it won't be to long before you get a visit from HMRC from non-payment of duties/taxes! Plus the penalty fine on top of that!! Be warned!!
The items i buy at the moment are small in size, i buy memory cards. So there pretty small packaging with 100's in them. There also declared as gift $30.00. Its helped so far.
