Italy number eight and captain Sergio Parisse will face a judicial hearing after being cited for alleged contact with the eyes or eye area of New Zealand lock Isaac Ross.

The incident occurred in the 58th minute of Saturday's match at AMI Stadium in Christchurch, won 27-6 by the All Blacks.

Parisse will appear before judicial officers Paul Tully in Christchurch at 11am (NZ time) on Sunday.
