Freddy Eastwood's debut double saw Coventry cruise to a 3-1 friendly win at Cambridge United on Saturday afternoon.Former Southend striker Eastwood, a £1.2million summer signing from Wolves, gave the Sky Blues an early lead, firing home into the bottom corner after a smart turn.
Danny Fox curled home a fine free-kick before half-time and Eastwood finished neatly in the second half after Leon Best's shot had been blocked.
Ben Farrell replied for Cambridge from the penalty spot but it was little more than a consolation for last season's beaten Blue Square Premier play-off finalists.

Wolves will regret selling Eastwood as stated in my previous e mail.
It is no surprise to me at all, and when Coventry visit Molineux I have no doubt he will make MM eat his words.
