Fact is, he's only displaying "loyalty" because it's obvious Liverpool aren't now going to come across with the right amount of cash...This deal was a dead duck as soon as they splashed out the £19mill on Robbie Keane, the Yanks that own Liverpool were NEVER going to splash that kind of cash twice in the space of a few weeks... Call me a cynic, but funny how Barry's only just remembered that Villa are the club that nurtured him as a kid after the commotion he's caused all summer, especially as there's now only four days left in the transfer window!! first of all James Milner is not a patch on Barry, secondly the only reason this deal never went through is because liverpool screwed it up. Thirdly, we are missing wingers on both sides, watch the game tonight and you will see everything is played in the middle, we are playing gerrard as a winger and kuyt as a winger, both are central players. If we dont get wingers in soon, then we have no chance of winning the big prizes this year and are gonna have to rely on poor old gerrard and torres to do everything again and they cant keep it up all season on thier own.
