League One - Dons sign Price on loan

MK Dons have signed Derby County's Welsh international goalkeeper Lewis Price on a one-month loan deal.

The 24-year-old arrives at the Stadium:MK in an emergency loan to solve Dons boss Roberto Di Matteo's current goalkeeping crisis.

Frenchman Willy Gueret is set to start a three-match ban after the club decided not to appeal his red card for violent conduct against Cheltenham on Saturday.

And his replacement Nathan Abbey is facing a spell on the sidelines after sustaining an ankle injury during the same game.

Price, who moved to Derby from Ipswich last year, made six Premier League appearances for the Rams in their ill-fated top flight season and has six international caps to his name.

He joins the Dons on loan up to and including November 26 and will be eligible to play both in league games and the FA Cup.
