Borussia Dortmund's Argentine striker Lucas Barrios is not in Paraguay's 2010 World Cup plans, according to coach Gerardo Martino.
"There is definitely no place nor time to nationalise anyone else," Martino, who already has Argentine-born midfielders Jonathan Santana and Nestor Ortigoza in his squad, told the daily Ultima Hora.
"I didn't speak to the player or his agent," added Argentine Martino.
Barrios said on Monday that Paraguay, the country of his mother's birth, were interested in him although he would prefer to play for Argentina, whose coach Diego Maradona had considerer him earlier this year but has not called him up.
"I would love to play for Argentina but there is Paraguay's interest and I have to think carefully about it," Barrios told the TyC television station.
