Charlton manager Phil Parkinson was delighted to see his side pitted against Northwich Victoria in the first round of the FA Cup.
The Addicks travel to the non-leaguers - who saw off FC United of Manchester in the last round - on the weekend of November 7 and Parkinson is relishing the challenge.
He told the club's official website: "We're looking forward to it. It's what the FA Cup's all about, meeting non-league opposition.
"We've got a big League One game before that in Carlisle United, and once that's out of the way, we'll be turning our attentions to the match at Northwich."
