Cilic fights way into St. Petersburg quarters
Marin Cilic had to work hard before defeating Somdev Devvarman in the second round of the ATP St Petersburg event.
The fourth seeded Croatian dropped the first set before finally triumphing 5-7 6-1 6-3 in a match that last two hours and 16 minutes.
It is the first time in Bogomolov's career that he has reached back-to-back ATP quarter-finals after reaching the same stage in Moscow last week.
Bogomolov also looks to have a great chance of reaching the last four as he next faces world number 228 Dusan Lajovic, who booked his last eight spot with a 2-6 6-2 6-1 win over Dudi Sela.
