Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale has reiterated that Dave Jones' job as Bluebirds manager is not under threat.Ridsdale watched on as Cardiff battled to a goalless draw at Leicester on Monday night, to make it four points from the last two games and a second consecutive clean sheet.
Some sections of supporters still want Jones out but Ridsdale is standing by his manager.
He told the South Wales Echo: "I hope that puts the nonsense about changing manager to bed once and for all. Let's concentrate on moving forward from this point and earning as many points as possible.
"I am delighted for Dave Jones. It was suggested he has lost the dressing room, but anybody who watched the match at Leicester will know that is simply not the case.
"Every player is 100 per cent behind their manager and the Sky television coverage showed that nationwide. This is a very tight league and anyone who goes on a run can get into the top six. We just have to make sure we are looking upwards not downwards."
