Darlington have announced that chief executive Jon Sotnick has left his post at the League Two club "by mutual agreement".Former Boston chairman Sotnick joined the Quakers in 2006 but has now left as part of a cost-cutting exercise.
A club statement read: "Jon Sotnick is leaving Darlington by mutual agreement.
"This has been necessary in order to rationalise the senior management costs to ensure all possible investment is maintained in the team.
"Despite the exceptionally good performance of the league-topping squad, gates have not yet made expectations and costs need to be controlled."
