The Basque club are languishing in the Segunda Division following their relegation last season and giant Serb Zigic - who only joined Los Che in the summer - is reportedly looking for a loan move after struggling to break into the first team at the Mestalla.

Badiola runs Light House Consulting, which he will use to bring in new players on Primera Divison contracts as the club bid to bounce straight back to the top flight.

"We will quickly sort out Real's financial problems which will allow us to bring the player in along with his commercial rights," Badiola declared. "The agreement is total with the player and his representatives," he added.

Zigic is the key target on Badiola's list, which also contains young midfielders Merida and Marc Crosas (of Barcelona), who would be signed on loan for six months with the option to buy.

Badiola also stated that two more players will arrive should he be elected and if Welsh coach Chris Coleman gives him the green light to sign a utility midfielder and a left winger.

Coleman had previously expressed concerns that a new president will sign players over his head, which would force him to leave.
