Lee Canoville is available after suspension for Notts County's trip to Brentford on Tuesday night.The defender missed the 1-1 draw at Morecambe at the weekend as he served a one-match ban after collecting his fifth yellow card of the season in the home win against Chester.

Ali Gibb is also back in contention after recovering from a groin injury but Guy Branston's calf complaint continues to cause him problems.

Mike Edwards made his long-awaited return from a broken leg and dislocated ankle against Morecambe.

The defender made his first appearance of the season at Christie Park and will be hopeful of keeping his place in the starting XI after suffering no ill-effects.

Manager Ian McParland said: "It was great to see Mike back in action and he came through okay."
