Crewe first-team coach Steve Holland will wait on the fitness of two of his players before naming his side to face Bristol Rovers at home.Nicky Maynard is struggling with a sore toe suffered in the 0-0 draw with Swindon, while Michael O'Connor has a foot problem.
Holland told the club's official website: "Nicky has a sore toe and we will wait to see how that goes on Monday. Our physio Steve Walker saw him on Sunday and he says that it may need an X-ray to see if there is substantial damage. Of course we are hoping it is nothing too serious and that he will be fit to face Bristol Rovers.
"Nicky has already missed a large chunk of the season through injury and we don't want him to miss too many more matches for us.
He added: "Michael O'Connor received a kick on his foot on Saturday and he has had trouble applying any weight or pressure on the foot, so he too is a doubt at this stage."
Veteran defender Neil Cox and midfielder Steven Schumacher will hope for recalls to the starting XI, while defender Billy Jones (knee) remains a long-term absentee.
