Experienced striker Marc Nygaard is set to return to his native Denmark after QPR terminated his contract with immediate effect.The striker is expected to sign for Danish Superliga side Randers, who are managed by former Bolton and Bradford boss Colin Todd.

The 31-year-old extended his contract at Loftus Road last summer but has netted just one goal for the club this season in 20 appearances.

Nygaard signed from Brescia in 2005 and scored 12 goals in 72 games for Rangers in a two-and-a-half-year stay.
