Remarkably every fourth-round tie was settled at the first time of asking, meaning no replays and all 16 teams will know their enemy.

Holders Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool are joined by Portsmouth and Middlesbrough in an unusually skimpy Premier League contingent.

By contrast, there are seven Championship sides; Barnsley, Cardiff, Coventry, Preston, Sheffield United, Southampton and Wolves.

The remaining two contenders, Huddersfield and Bristol Rovers, hail from League One.
