Algeria's women reached the Olympics by beating South Africa 3-0 in the African qualifying event on home soil in Blida.
The 25-12 25-10 25-18 victory was their fourth in as many matches and saw Algeria top the five-team group with an unblemished record.
Lydia Olumou was named the tournament's most valuable player.
Kenya, Cameroon, Senegal and South Africa filled the minor places.
They join Italy, Brazil, United States, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela and China in Beijing with four places yet to be filled.
