Millwall v Southampton

Millwall skipper Paul Robinson will miss the game. The centre-half has a thigh injury and, although the problem is not serious, will not be risked at the weekend. Fellow defenders Shane Lowry and Alan Dunne are still suspended while full-back Jordan Stewart remains sidelined by a groin injury so Jack Smith, Tony Craig, Scott Barron and Darren Ward continue in a makeshift back four. Midfield duo Therry Racon and Tamika Mkandawire are long-term absentees, though the Lions are hopeful both will be back in action before the end of the season. Racon is slowly stepping up his training after an ankle injury and Mkandawire is continuing his recovery from a knee operation.

Rickie Lambert returns for Southampton. Saints' 17-goal top scorer has missed the last three games through suspension after he was sent off against Brighton earlier this month. Winger Jason Puncheon could also be added to the squad after he was welcomed back into the first-team pool this week having been frozen out for almost a year, while Japanese forward Tadanari Lee has completed his move to the club and is available. But Saints have injury worries with defender Jos Hooiveld limping out of Monday's 2-0 defeat by Leicester with a hamstring problem and winger Adam Lallana a doubt with groin trouble. Centre-half Jose Fonte (toe) and midfielder Richard Chaplow (knee) are also receiving treatment and Tottenham loanee Iago Falque is cup-tied.

Hull City v Crawley

Hull defender Liam Rosenior has declared his fitness after he was forced out of last week's win at Reading with an ankle injury late in the game. Rosenior was the only injury doubt for the fourth round tie and Barmby will pick from a full-strength squad. Barmby made seven changes for the third-round win over Ipswich but was giving little away in terms of team selection for the visit of giantkillers Crawley. Winger Robbie Brady, on loan from Manchester United, scored the game's only goal when he returned to the starting line-up at Reading and is likely to retain his place alongside Aaron Mclean up front. Matty Fryatt may have to settle for a place on the substitutes' bench again.

Crawley are boosted by the loan capture of Sanchez Watt. The 20-year-old Arsenal striker has joined the Red Devils on loan until the end of the season and is eligible to line up at the KC Stadium. Defender Claude Davis limped out of last weekend's 1-1 draw at Plymouth after taking a knock to his leg but has recovered and will be available. Striker John Akinde is also fit after missing out against Argyle with a thigh injury. Boss Steve Evans will name his strongest side as Town bid to reach the fifth round for a second successive season. That means Akinde will probably have to start on the bench with Matt Tubbs and Tyrone Barnett continuing in attack. Midfielder Hope Akpan returns to the club where he had a short spell on loan at the end of last season.

West Bromwich Albion v Norwich City

West Brom midfielder Paul Scharner is again struggling to overcome an Achilles problem. The Austria international has been troubled by the injury in recent weeks and missed last weekend's win at Stoke. Albion head coach Roy Hodgson may rest striker Shane Long, who is having to manage a back complaint. Simon Cox and Marc-Antoine Fortune may deputise up front. Skipper Chris Brunt (fractured ankle), fellow midfielder Zoltan Gera (knee) and defenders Steven Reid (ankle and knee) and Billy Jones (hamstring) remain on the injury list.

Norwich striker James Vaughan could feature after making a goalscoring comeback from his long-term knee injury in the 3-3 midweek reserve match against Chelsea. Defender Elliott Ward (knee) also returned to match action in midweek along with Marc Tierney, who has recovered from a groin problem. Defender Kyle Naughton, on loan from Tottenham, will not be involved at the insistence of his parent club.

Blackpool v Sheffield Wednesday

Lomana LuaLua is Blackpool's only major injury doubt. Former Newcastle forward LuaLua was ruled out of last weekend's win over Crystal Palace with the problem and will be assessed ahead of kick-off, although it is thought the forthcoming midweek Championship encounter with Coventry is a more realistic target. With Tuesday's league game in mind and a near full-strength squad at his disposal, Seasiders boss Ian Holloway is expected to rotate his starting line-up. Robert Harris and Liverpool loanee Danny Wilson came into the Tangerines defence for the 5-1 third-round victory over Fleetwood and could be in contention to start once more. Midfielder Elliot Grandin remains in contention for selection despite ongoing talks with Nice over a return to French football. Blackpool have already travelled to Hillsborough in the Carling Cup this season, where they were knocked out on penalties following a goalless draw.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson could be without five defenders for the game. Miguel Llera is ineligible having played for Brentford in the competition earlier this season and Daniel Jones, who made his first league start of the season in the midweek win at Scunthorpe, is struggling with a calf injury. Another central defender, skipper Rob Jones, is unlikely to be risked due to the ankle injury that kept him out on Tuesday night and both Reda Johnson (back) and Julian Bennett (shoulder) are serious doubts. Mark Beevers is expected to make only his fourth appearance for the Owls this season and Megson hopes Lewis Buxton can return to the back four following a hamstring injury that has restricted him to one appearance since mid-November. Winger Mike Jones appeared for Bury in their FA Cup defeat to Crawley in November and is ineligible but Megson has no other new injury or suspension concerns as he heads back to the club he managed for one season in 1996/97

Stevenage v Notts County

Gary Smith will not make too many changes for his first game in charge of Stevenage. Former Colorado Rapids boss Smith was unveiled as Graham Westley's successor on Wednesday morning, having watched from the stands as Boro came from behind to beat League One play-off rivals MK Dons the previous night. Darius Charles caught the eye from the bench against the Dons and the versatile 24-year-old could have forced his way into the starting XI for the fourth round tie. However, Smith is expected to keep changes to a minimum following the successful caretaker reign of captain Mark Roberts and he could even name an unchanged team. With seven substitutes permitted in the cup, Chuks Aneke will hope to get back into the squad after the on-loan Arsenal midfielder was overlooked on his return from suspension in midweek.

On-loan defender Kieron Freeman will be ineligible for Notts County. Freeman is cup-tied having played in the previous round when his parent club Nottingham Forest went out to Leicester. Julian Kelly could be about to make a timely return from a calf injury after three weeks out and replace Freeman at full-back. The 22-year-old Irishman will undergo a fitness test. Should Kelly not be fit, Krystian Pearce could be recalled to fill in. Alternatively, manager Martin Allen could play Pearce in the centre of defence with one of the other centre-halves - Liam Chilvers or Damion Stewart - switching to full-back. Midfielder Hamza Bencherif and forwards Lee Hughes and Ben Burgess will be pushing for recalls.

Derby County v Stoke City

On-loan striker Ryan Noble has been refused permission to feature for Derby - he is on loan from Sunderland, who do not want him cup-tied if he returns to Wearside. Leading scorer Theo Robinson is an injury doubt and Steven Davies is not ready to start having only recently resumed action for the reserves after three months out with a skull fracture. Midfielder James Bailey has trained this week after he felt unwell at Burnley and had to be replaced by the fit-again Jeff Hendrick.

Stoke boss Tony Pulis has virtually a full squad to choose from. Defender Andy Wilkinson and winger Ryan Shotton are fit again after recent injury problems, with long-term absentee Mamady Sidibe (knee) the only player who will not be available for the Potters. Pulis, who made six changes for the 3-1 third-round victory at Gillingham, says he will pick a "strong" team for the clash at Pride Park.

Bolton Wanderers v Swansea City

Bolton will be without new signing Tim Ream. The defender, signed on Thursday from the New York Red Bulls, has returned to the US to complete the rest of his paperwork and is also likely to miss Wednesday's Barclays Premier League meeting with Arsenal. A bug has affected a number of Bolton players this week but boss Owen Coyle is hopeful they will all be fit while Jussi Jaaskelainen (thigh) and Tyrone Mears (broken leg) may be involved.

Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers has Alan Tate back in his squad as the defender steps up his return from the broken leg he suffered in a golf buggy accident in August. But on-loan centre-half Steven Caulker is unavailable after parent club Tottenham asked that he be left out to avoid being cup-tied in the event that they need to recall him from his season-long deal. Chelsea midfielder Josh McEachran, another loan signing, is set to make his first start for the Swans as he will not be eligible to face the Blues in Tuesday's Premier League fixture between the sides.

Sheffield United v Birmingham City

Birmingham skipper Stephen Carr is not yet ready to make his but Liam Ridgewell does return. Carr has not featured since mid-December due to a knee injury but has returned to training and is not far off full fitness. Ridgewell has missed City's last two games with a hamstring problem but is back in the fold, as is fellow defender Pablo Ibanez who has been sidelined recently with a knee complaint. Striker Marlon King was forced off just after half-time in last Saturday's 3-0 victory over Watford with a tight groin and is a doubt although the problem is minor, while manager Chris Hughton has opted to rest King and Nikola Zigic for FA Cup duty in any case. Winger Jean Beausejour has this week moved to Wigan, meaning Nathan Redmond is likely to come in at Bramall Lane. Guirane N'Daw remains at the African Nations Cup with Senegal.

Sheffield United striker James Beattie's chances of a first start since returning to the club are on hold as he misses the clash with through suspension. Beattie, in his second spell with the Blades, was sent off for violent conduct in last week's defeat at Charlton and will sit out the first of a three-match ban. He has made seven appearances off the bench for Danny Wilson's side. Beattie's place among the substitutes could go to winger Ryan Flynn, who has missed the last three games due to illness, while Wilson has no other new injury or suspension problems.

Leicester City v Swindon Town

Leicester are waiting to discover the extent of Paul Gallagher's latest back problem. The Scot had to be substituted just before half-time during the 2-0 Championship victory at Southampton on Monday night. Gallagher suffered with the injury earlier this season and boss Nigel Pearson is waiting to see what the damage is this time around. He joins fellow midfielders Andy King (foot), Matt Oakley and Franck Moussa in the treatment room, while Michael Johnson is not fit enough for action and recent signing Danny Drinkwater is cup-tied. Full-back Liam Moore has also played in the competition for another club this season during his loan spell at Bradford and Aston Villa have not granted permission for striker Nathan Delfouneso to play in the fourth-round tie. Defenders Sol Bamba and John Pantsil are still away at the African Nations Cup with Ivory Coast and Ghana respectively and strikers Darius Vassell (knee), Jeffery Schlupp (knee) and Martyn Waghorn (hamstring) are injured.

Swindon will welcome defender Alan McCormack back into their matchday squad. McCormack has completed a two-match ban and could return to the heart of defence to partner Aden Flint, with Joe Devera making way. Winger Luke Rooney will not be available to manager Paolo Di Canio, however, as the new signing from Gillingham is cup-tied, while the same applies for forward Billy Bodin. Striker Mehdi Kerrouche will not feature for Di Canio, with the Algerian set to leave the County Ground this month having not played for the Robins since the 1-1 draw at Bristol Rovers on December 10. Dutch wide man Etienne Esajas is struggling with a minor knock and will not be considered for selection.
