Fulham manager Martin Jol accepted that Everton deserved to beat his side 2-1 in the FA Cup fourth round.
Goals from Denis Stracqualursi and Marouane Fellaini cancelled out a controversial Danny Murphy penalty, and Jol admitted the Toffees were the better team.
He said: "If you score a goal that early, you hope for more, you hope to go to the next round. But you have to defend well because you know the quality they have from crosses and midfield players.
"They had a strong spell of five corners in about two minutes, that is their strength. They were trying to get balls into the box from the right and the left and we knew they would.
"Overall we defended well but on two occasions we didn't and there was another ball on to the bar which made us nervous, but with our quality we should have done better.
"Under pressure you have to play around them and we couldn't do that most of the time. The result is disappointing but overall I think Everton deserved it."

Jol is taking a very good team out of the Premier. He is stubborn and arrogant with the players. Idiot, He plays Senderos instead of Hughes and does not realise he has four international forwards.
P.S. The Toffees can have Jol, we'll have Moyes!
Yeah, Everton deserve to progress, but Jol dosen't. The fool keeps chopping and changing the team. No one knows exactly what they should be doing. Fulham's team, played correctly, would match any team in the Prem. But this idiot Jol just has no idea of what he's doing.
A very honest manager, just wish more wrer like him.
