MacDonald out of Robins clash

Striker Charlie MacDonald will miss Southend United's trip to Cheltenham Town after limping out of a midweek reserves game.MacDonald scored against Ipswich reserves, but subsequently limped out of the game with a twisted ankle.

On-loan Charlton frontman James Walker is expected to continue up front with Lee Barnard, who scored the first goal in a 3-0 win over Yeovil at Huish Park.

Fellow striker Alex Revell is out for a month after having to undergo a third operation on his troublesome hernia.

On-loan Reading midfielder Hal Robson-Kanu (hamstring) is out for at least another fortnight while defender Che Wilson is recovering from Achilles surgery.

The Shrimpers go into the clash in fine form with just one defeat in six league matches.
